Slowly but surely the weather is starting to clear up around here.. The waters were much calmer today causing better fishing. Our nearshore fleet had some good bluefish catches today. The offshore fleet brought back catches of tilefish, tuna, and wahoo. The Shugart crew fishing off of the Haphazard had two blue marlin releases and a sailfish release. The Johnson crew had a white marlin release off of the Country Girl! Congratulations guys! Our boats fishing the tournament had a total of three sailfish releases and a wahoo off of the Obsession and A Salt Weapon had two white marlin releases and a sailfish release! Good luck boys! We will find out later tonight who placed in the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament, check out the stats on their website, www.dcbbf.org
