The word is out that the rockfish are thick along the coast of the northern Outer Banks.  The ocean was lined with boats out this past weekend and the fish were plentiful.

Our fleet all came in with their limit of good size rockfish.  Several citations were issued; among those receiving citations were Bill Hedrick of Missoula Montana and John Seelinger from Fredericksburg, Va. We had children fishing aboard the Hog Wild and they landed their own good sized fish as well.  Caroline Parks had a great time with her friends fishing!   Many of the boats came in early with their limit while others enjoyed another beautiful winter’s day fishing.  Congratulations to all anglers.  If you haven’t been out to fish for the Stripers yet, give us a call.  We have boats available and some make up parties looking for more anglers to join them.  Call us at 800-367-4728.
