Tuna fishing is picking up again – the sharks must have gotten their fill!! Several boats used kites to tempt those tuna and it worked – one boat even came back with a box full of yellowfin, and Ned McNeely on the Sea Toy caught a Big-eye tuna weighing in at 165pounds! Congratulations Ned! There were also plenty of dolphin in the mix today, one boat caught a limit and others had a few mixed in with their tuna.
Our nearshore trips were successful as well, reeling in plenty of bluefish and spanish mackeral.
