With winds reaching 20 to 25 knots from the North East, our fleet was laid to the docks. They boys should be taking some much deserved rest. Instead they have been in and out of the Ship’s Store, getting rigged up for the next day of fishing. No one wants to be unprepared when the fishing is this HOT! Yesterday and the day before over 150 White Marlin flags were flying in Pirate’s Cove Marina, each day!

Tomorrow, the winds may die down a little but it could be another blow day. We have been so blessed not only with the Marlin bite, but also with the weather! I guess Mother Nature thought it was time to give the fisherman a break. Hopefully, we will be able to get back out to the fishing grounds by Thursday!

We did have one Nearshore boat, the Sea Hunter, brave the swells this afternoon. He returned with a nice catch of Bluefish. They will be eating good tonight!
