Today was the calm before tomorrow’s storm—8 of our offshore captains went fishing today followed by 4 of our nearshore boats.  Winds were out of the southwest blowing 10 to 15 knots and seas ranged from 4 to 6 feet.

The sea is alive!  Nearshore trips are still catching and reporting abundant numbers of Spanish mackerel; cobia are continuously being seen and caught just off the beach as well.  Our offshore fleet is bringing back boxes FULL of yellowfin tuna and the big eye tuna are, to our liking, repeatedly striking the hook.  A wreckfishing trip went out today and returned with a limit of tilefish and hundreds of pounds of black sea bass.

We still have make-up charters that need to be put together! If you have the urge to get out and fish without burning a big hole in your wallet, then check out our make-up charter information online at staging.pcdev.flywheelsites.com/makeup_charters.  There is a nearshore trip available for a make-up for up to 2 or 3 people June 6th or 7th.  We also have one offshore trip that needs up to two more individuals for either the 17th, 18th, or 19th of June!  Call for more information at 473-3906 or 1-800-367-4728!
