What a difference a day makes!
Expectations were high after yesterday’s Yellowfin tuna frenzy. With a change to west winds today, the water was very different with a lot of current. Yellowfin were in short supply, but limits of Grey Tilefish were landed by most. There were a few highlights today. Fourteen year old, Daniel Kennedy, fishing on the Obsession released a 400 pound Blue Marlin for a citation, it was his first Blue Marlin, and it put on a show, jumping about 20 times! They also landed a dolphin fish and a couple of tuna. A very nice Mako shark was landed on the Country Girl.
One boat fished Nearshore today. The water is still a little cool for good action, but the group today had a great time catching Skates and Blow toads!
