Today was the first day of fishing for the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament! Only 3 boats went out but we did have a few Offshore Charters go fishing that were not in the tournament. They returned with catches of Tilefish and limits of Mahi Mahi! The Nearshore and Inlet crews reported catches of Spanish Mackerel, Moonfish, and Albacore! They also released some nice Red Drum this morning! Congratulations to our citation fishermen: Carlton Kidd (Red Drum release), Jeffrey Aczel (Red Drum release), Gabe Stowe (10lb Tilefish)
