So this report was supposed to be about how great the Tuna and dolphin catches were today.  Unfortunately, no one has fished sinced Sunday given the weather situation so today was the first day everyone has tried to get out.  We had a lot of boats from both the fishing center and our own headed out this morning and all had to turn around and head back to the marina.

The good news is there is a sidecaster dredge in there, as we speak, working it’s little heart out trying to make it passable asap.  With the entire combined fleet headed out tomorrow, we’ve all have our fingers crossed that there will be enough water to pass in the morning.  If you have a trip booked for tomorrow plan on heading out and fishing and having a great time.  The weather is forecasted to be beautiful with a few scattered showers.  This is without a doubt a premier time to be fishing and they’re working as hard as possible to get the inlet clear asap.

Despite the traffic jam headed offshore this morning there was some nearshore and sound trips today.  The fishing for them was really good.  The first boat in caught about everything imaginable including Puppy Drum, grey trout, Flounder (including a 19" fish), and bluefish.  I just got off the phone with our sound guide and he had a great morning too with the addition of some nice speckled trout to add to the list.  Fishing is so good right now just about anywhere you want to get a line wet inshore or offshore.  If you want to get in on any of the hot action down here this fall try to book your trip while you still can.  Were becoming fully booked on most fridays, sat, and sundays.  Call us at 1-800-367-4728 or visit us at staging.pcdev.flywheelsites.com to book your trip!  Take care and have a great weekend!!
