Excellent Sunday fishing out of Pirate’s Cove Marina! The weather is taking a turn for the worse with rain and wind increasing throughout the afternoon, but the fishing is heating up!
We had a handful of charters out today and a handful of private boats out. The Marlin Gull brought a 107 inch Trophy Bluefin Tuna in that weighed in at a hefty 608 pounds! Almost everyone got in on the action, reeling it in. The other charters caught and released Giant Bluefin in the 300-400 pound range, and several were taken commercially in the 400-500 pound range.
