Today location played a big part in the catches.  Most of our boats got right on the fish first thing this morning and did well.   Others were playing catch up after fish were located again.  Yellowfin Tuna were caught in good numbers and lots of Dolphin.  Some Wahoo and a Blue Marlin were caught and released today with the catch of the day being a 228 pound Bigeye Tuna with its tail bitten off by a shark.  Another massive Bigeye just shy of 200 was also brought in today by a private boat.  Large amounts of Tuna in particular were found today and most of the fleet will be heading straight to them tomorrow.  Hopefully we will have lot’s to report after tomorrow’s fishing.

The Nearshore fleet did well today catching good amounts of Spanish Mackerel and some Cobia.  There is bait everywhere and when the wind shifts back to the east, and blows warm offshore water in, the Nearshore fishing should be fantastic later in the week.
