Seriously today couldn’t of been much better for the Offshore guys.  The first boat was in by 2:00 pm and had a limit (18) of fat yellowfin Tuna.  Then as the rest began to filter in all you could see was white marlin flags the full length of the outriggers!  The next two had 8 and 2 whites respectively and I just talked to a captain coming in late with 9.  So looks like we have an overlap of two world class fisheries at the moment.  Let’s hope mother nature decides to continue cooperating!  Honestly I’m chomping at the bit looking at all the flags out the window and plan on heading out once or twice this week myself. The summer to fall transition is, without a doubt, my favorite time to be getting a line wet.  The blackfin Tuna are here in huge numbers right now and theres going to be a lot to talk about over the next couple weeks.

The nearshore fleet didn’t fish today so nothing to report today. Although I did speak to one of the captains busy enforcing the no fly zone today (Dove season opened today) They were having a good day of it but couldn’t wait to get back out on the water tomorrow..

We going to get pretty busy as the week progresses but have some great fishing opportunities including make ups.  Call us at 1-800-367-4728 or visit us at staging.pcdev.flywheelsites.com to book your trip or let us put a makeup together for you..
