Two of the nearshore boats went out this morning but came back in with the heavy rainstorms. The offshore boats that ventured out said the weather was not as bad as expected; but had a rough ride in tonight. Regardless, they did sight some nice size tunas and are looking forward to the weather clearing next week to get into the catch!
The fishing party on the Obsession released 1 white marlin and had another which jumped off. They caught a 62# yellowfin and several dolphin and spotted many more. The Country Girl’s fishing party caught 9 albacore, 2 blackfin tuna and a nice yellowfin. We’ll see what’s biting after this storm moves up the coast.
