The fleet had a good day out today.. Nearshore charters had great catches both this morning and afternoon with Spanish Mackerel and Taylor Blues. The offshore fleet and private boats had a good afternoon of billfishing. Citations were issued to the party aboard Obsession to Kenneth and Jeff Cutrer from Louisville KY for their catch and release of 4 sailfish. They also had a double meatfish slam bringing in 25 dolphin, 2 blackfin tuna and 4 Wahoos. A fantastic day for these anglers topped off their Outer Banks vacation. Several private boats came back to the Marina flying white marlin and sailfish release flags as well. Overall, another grand day of fishing from Pirate’s Cove Marina.
