Well word on the street is, there’s fantastic fishing offshore right now.  Unfortunately mother nature decided to lay down the wind gaunlet today and the majority of the offshore fleet decided to rebook their trips for tomorrow.  That would be all but one boat, and let’s just say he was a "Bull" in a china shop today sporting 12 white marlin flags coming into port.  It was a rough one today with 5-6 swells spaced at 5 seconds.  In english that’s a little rougher than desired and the folks that went earned their flags today.  We had some of our private boats fish today and the top boat I’ve seen so far had 15 white marlin. It’s been an incredible month of Marlin fishing along with the added early suprise of large yellowfin Tuna.  It’s funny watching the captains coming down the creek trying to keep a straight face up in the bridge.  Mouths drop and people point at the rediculous amount of marlin flags going the full length of the outriggers.  It’s double digit badges of pride for our anglers and proof of a job well done by the Captains and mates.  It’s nothing but fishing Nirvana here right now and I hope everyone with the means gets a chance to fish with us.   Tomorrow things are supposed to lay down as the day progresses and it looks like everyone that knows how to use a rod and reel will be headed out to take advantage of the incredible fishing.

We only had one nearshore boat head out today and they stayed inside the inlet catching scattered bottomfish including some really nice Sea Mullet and flounder.  Those anglers are going to be eating good tonight!  I know I’ve been gorging myself on Tuna all week but makes my mouth water to think about fried sea mullet that been freshly caught.  We’ve got a bunch more trips headed out tomorrow on the nearshore boats.  There’s everything from Spanish Mackerel to Dolphin being caught just off the coast right now and I look forward to seeing their results tomorrow.

We go out of our way to make the saltwater fishing experience as worry free and easy as possible.  Call us at 1-800-367-4728 or visit us staging.pcdev.flywheelsites.com and we will take care of the rest!  Take care and have a great weekend!
