Wow it’s been such an action packed couple of weeks.  It’s been extremely busy here at the Marina. The Offshore action continues to be red hot.  Today despite it being very windy and rough we had the majority of the fleet out there limiting out on Yellowfin Tuna today.  All the catches were topped off with some good sized Dolphin too.  There was quite a bit of excitement today Offshore.  Several massive Bigeyes were lost right at the boats today.  One in particular was hooked and fought for almost three hours before the hook gave way right before the leader showed!  I spoke with the Angler that fought that fish and he could barely hold his arms up.  Despite loosing such a nice fish he was grinning ear to ear to have had the oppurtunity to have such a great trip. Today there were a few White marlin , Blues, and a Sailfish caught and released too.  This week everyday Bigeyes have been hooked or landed.  Hopefully we will have some great pictures of some massive fish this weekend caught by some lucky Anglers. Most of the fleet is booked up but we definately have some oppurtunities available for the weekend including some make ups.

Today the Nearshore fleet really did an outstanding job of adapting to the conditions.  Despite it being rough outside the inlet they were able to still put everyone on good numbers of fish today inside the inlet.  The fishing has been really outstanding for them for the last few weeks too.  It looks like tomorrow the weather will allow them to get back on the Mackerel and Cobia.

In the sound the fishing for Speckled Trout is still really good.  Every trip I’ve seen since Monday has caught their limit or close to a limit of Specks and some Puppy Drum.  If you want to get on a Charter or a Make up Call us at 1-800-367-4728 or visit us at www.Fishpiratescove.com
