We had great reports all day from our nearshore, inlet, and offshore fleets.  The nearshore fleet brought in Amberjack, Dolphin, Sea Bass, Flounder, Sea Mullet and Spanish Mackeral and live-baited some Bluefish around the Oregon Inlet bridge.  As for offshore, we released a total of 3 White Marlin and 3 Sailfish and brought in some nice Wahoo (one weighed in at 42 pounds!) and a boatload of dolphin, both bailers and a few gaffers.  Hope those billfish hang around and call their buddies to join!  Nearshore charters are filling up FAST this week, and we still have a few offshore boats available through Saturday. – call us today at 252-473-3906, visit staging.pcdev.flywheelsites.com or come see us in the Ship’s Store to book your trip or get on the Make-up List.

Don’t forget that the 24th Annual Alice Kelly Ladies Memorial Billfish Tournament begins with registration on Saturday and lines in at 9am on Sunday 8/11.  The 30th Annual Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament starts with registration on Monday 8/10 and lines in on Tuesday at 8:30.  While all of our offshore fleet is booked for Sunday, we do have one more of our Nearshore fleet who is available for the Alice Kelly on Sunday.  Call George Munden on the Sea Hunter at 252-312-7858 for information.  A handful of offshore boats are available for the Billfish Tournament as well.  Call us at the Ship’s Store for further information.

You can pre-purchase weekly passes for the tournaments, either All-Inclusive or Bacardi Bar Only, by calling 252-473-1015 or visiting the Ship’s Store.

We’d like to send some luck up to two of our boats, the HapHazard and Sea Toy, who are fishing in the White Marlin Open in Ocean City, Maryland this week – Tight Lines and Bent Rods!
