What a beautiful day to be outside and enjoying the water!  Today is quite a turn for the better in relation to the last few windy days we’ve had here near Oregon Inlet.  NE winds are blowing only 5 to 10 kts with seas 5 to 7 ft.  There is some swell, but at least the wind has laid out a little and the sun is shining bright for our fishermen.  We had four of our nearshore fleet and three of our offshore boats venture from the docks this morning.

Despite the slight bumpiness, our nearshore trips brought in some nicely sized cobia alongside a few spanish and sea mullet.  Our offshore trips are beginning to bring in yellowfin tuna and the usual slew of dolphin; over 1,000 lbs. of catch today alone!  There was also a White Marlin release by a client on the Haphazard.  Apparently, there was a sighting of a 500-600 lb. Blue Marlin as well as a sighting of a large tuna.  Book your charter today so you don’t miss out any further on this great fishing action!

It is now June and the summer is only going to get hotter!  We have plenty of ladies and guys swimwear to choose from.  We also just stocked up on our selection of Costa sunglasses! Come check us out and book a charter while you’re at it!  We have an offshore make-up charter available for up to 2 people June 17-19.  We also have a nearshore make-up trip available for future dates July 28-31 for up to 4 more people.
