Nearshore fleet stayed inside the inlet today as the winds made for a rough ride. They did have good catches of Spanish mackerel, bluefish and flounder.

The Offshore fleet again were into the Mahi and Tuna. The fishing party aboard A Salt Weapon had another meat slam, catching their limit of dolphin, Wahoo and Yellowfin tuna. Ya’ Mamma had 3 nice Yellowfin tuna and dolphin. The Country Girl had a good catch of tilefish, sea bass and dolphin. Robert Pfeifer of Olney Maryland, fishing aboard a private boat out of Pirate’s Cove, caught a 41 pound Wahoo for a citation.

The winds are and waves are expected to lie down by Saturday, so it should be a great weekend to schedule a charter! We have makeup charters available for small groups wanting to out. Give us a call to help you get out onto the water and into the fish! Call 252-473-3906 or 800-537-7245.
